Maude Street Mall was developed in the late 1980s as a pedestrian heart to Shepparton.
Urban Initiatives worked with Council over a number of years to plan a series of upgrades including the development of a new central plaza and stage.
This project began with concept design studies and community consultation as well as infrastructure renewal, carparking and public space design.
The central plaza component was awarded a Merit Award in the Civic Design category of AILA Victorian 2000 awards programme.
