Leila Heggie - Urban Designer

Bachelor of Science (Urban Design and Planning) RMIT University 2004.

Leila has over 6 years experience in urban design, she has worked in both public and private sectors. Her career has focused on the inception, planning and delivery of complex large-scale projects ranging from Wollongong city centre public domain masterplan and concept design and documentation for Wollongong Crown Street Mall to a 3- year Coastal Towns Urban Design Framework which provided guidance on the location, type and extent of future development along the Victorian coast. This framework was awarded numerous awards including the Australian Urban Design Award in 2007.
