Ian Robertson is an urban designer with comprehensive experience in all tasks involved in achieving high quality urban development. In eighteen years as an urban designer Ian’s experience has included research and analysis, policy development, feasibility studies, structure plans, urban design frameworks, project management, design, procurement and construction.
Experience Prior to joining Urban Initiatives in 2017, Ian worked predominantly in the public sector with a number of metropolitan Councils, including management roles at Moreland City Council and the Greater Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust. His strengths include urban renewal, collaborative project management, stakeholder engagement, cemetery development and meeting the challenges encountered in the pursuit of complex development projects.
